Sales enquiries
If you are asking about one of the 21 vehicles currently advertised, include the CFY stock reference shown on the vehicle page.
The stock number identifies the exact physical vehicle immediately and is more useful than saying only “the BMW” or “the Porsche”.

Sales and vehicle enquiries:
For non-urgent enquiries, vehicle questions, inspection arrangements and part-exchange information:
Asking about a specific car
A useful vehicle enquiry includes:
- the CFY stock number;
- the vehicle make and model;
- whether you want to view or test-drive it;
- which day you are considering visiting;
- any specific feature or condition point that matters to your decision;
- whether you have a part-exchange vehicle.
Vehicle availability
The website represents the current advertised inventory, but availability can change during the day.
A car can also temporarily be away from the main display because of preparation, inspection, demonstration, collection or storage.
If you are travelling a significant distance for one particular vehicle, contact us before leaving.
Viewings
Most stock can be viewed during normal showroom hours. Appointments are particularly useful for older, specialist and higher-value cars.
Booking beforehand gives us an opportunity to confirm availability and make sure the exact vehicle can be accessed when you arrive.
Test drives
Test drives are available subject to a valid driving licence, vehicle availability, suitable arrangements and staff capacity.
If a test drive is important to your visit, mention it when arranging the viewing rather than assuming it can always be organised immediately.
Independent inspections
Independent inspections are welcome by prior arrangement. Give the inspection provider the exact CFY stock number and ask them to contact us to arrange access.
This can be particularly useful for older cars, high-performance models and technically complex premium vehicles.
Part exchange
If you have a vehicle to part exchange, have the following information ready:
- registration number;
- current mileage;
- make, model and derivative;
- service-history information;
- number of keys;
- known faults or warning lights;
- body and interior condition;
- any modifications from factory specification.
An initial valuation can be discussed remotely, but a final figure requires inspection of the vehicle.
Selling a car without buying one
Cars For You may also purchase suitable vehicles directly. You do not have to be buying another car from us to make an enquiry.
See the dedicated Sell your car page for the information we need first.
Collection questions
If you are collecting a purchased vehicle, wait until the sales desk confirms that payment, paperwork and any agreed preparation are complete.
Collection times can differ slightly from ordinary showroom hours because a proper handover needs enough time to complete.
Delivery enquiries
Delivery may be possible depending on destination, vehicle type and transport availability.
It is not automatically included in the advertised vehicle price. Ask for the arrangement and cost before completing the purchase.
Specific equipment questions
If one feature determines whether you would buy the car, ask us to physically confirm it on the exact vehicle.
Specification can vary according to production date, market and factory options, particularly on older premium vehicles.
Contact before a long journey
If you are travelling from outside Birmingham, tell us where you are coming from and which exact car you intend to see.
We would rather answer condition or specification questions before you travel than have you discover an important mismatch after arriving.
