Older enthusiast cars, naturally aspirated engines, manual gearboxes, V8s, roadsters and other stock that does not fit the usual everyday-car list.
This section is for the older and more unusual end of the Cars For You stock. Some are recognised modern classics, some are simply interesting specifications, and some are cars that have become difficult to find in clean and usable condition.
Age matters here. A twenty-year-old car should be judged differently from a three-year-old hatchback, so condition, history, originality and recent maintenance become especially important.

Independent inspections are particularly sensible on older specialist cars. Customers can arrange a mechanic, engineer or recognised inspection provider to examine a vehicle before purchase.
Please arrange the inspection with us in advance so we can make sure the vehicle and relevant paperwork are available.
Stone chips, light scratches, interior wear and other age-related marks are normal on older vehicles. We do not describe every older car as immaculate simply because it photographs well.
If cosmetic condition is especially important, ask for specific information before travelling.
Older performance and luxury cars can require maintenance beyond routine oil changes. Suspension components, cooling systems, transmissions, braking systems and age-related seals can all matter.
Ask about recent work and the supporting history available with the exact vehicle you are considering.
Remote purchase is possible, but older vehicles usually benefit from a physical viewing or independent inspection first. Small details that are normal for the age can be difficult to communicate completely in photographs.
If you cannot visit personally, ask detailed questions and consider arranging a third-party inspection before making the final payment.
